World Conference of Non-Alligned Nations

According to npr.org, the only major news outlet I found that thinks this is newsworthy:

Leaders from more than 100 countries are meeting in Cuba this week for a summit of the summit Nonaligned Movement. It's an organization founded during the Cold War for countries who did not want to take sides in world politics. This is the second time Cuba has hosted the summit.

The leaders of Syria and Iran will be in attendance alongside host Fidel Castro. In a separate luncheon, the triumvirate is expected to meet with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on North Korea's Kim Jong Ill's private yacht where they will attempt to extort the U.N. for one hundred million dollars.
